Locally Agreed Syllabus
Home >> What are we trying to achieve? >> Locally Agreed Syllabus

The legal requirement for any school is still the locally agreed syllabus document. The LAS that you are required to follow will depend on the type of school that you are in. A community or local authority school will be required to follow the LAS of the Local Authority. A aided school may opt for a syllabus provided by the religious group that it is tied to, or to a syllabus from another group. An academy must follow an agreed syllabus of its choosing.
