In 2007 she went to Israel to study at Yad Vashem and travelled to Lithuania and Poland with the Imperial War Museum Holocaust Fellowship. Her special project is on Good, Evil, Suffering and Hope. In April 2007 she also travelled to Kerala in Southern India with Teachers in Development Education (TIDE) to explore the Kerala paradox. Kerala has a literacy level and life expectancy level almost on a par with Britain, but is one of the poorest parts of India and therefore of the world. She is hoping that through her visit she will be able to show how Religious Education can better contribute to Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship (ESDGC) |
