Jane Brooke taught for 20 years ages 3-18. For a large part of that time she was in secondary education as Head of RE and Head of PSE. She has worked nationally for the Christian Education Movement where she delivered many courses in RE for teachers in primary and secondary schools in England and parts of Europe.

At present, she is Senior Adviser for Curriculum and RE in Cheshire, her local education authority. She is trained as an Ofsted (school inspection service) inspector and a church schools' inspector. She is sub-editor of REToday (RE teachers' magazine) and deputy chair of NASACRE (national standing advisory committee for RE). She has an interest in using the creative arts to teach RE.
