Board member for Austria

Currently chair of EFTRE. I have been a teacher in secondary schools since 1991 teaching Protestant Religion, Italian and History. During this time I also worked for 8 years in an education pilot scheme focusing on social education. I now work for the KPH (Kirchlich Pädagogische Hochschule in Wien, Institut für Fort-und Weiterbildung) which is an institute that organizes in service training for Austrian Protestant RE teachers. I am in charge of the seminar department planning and organizing seminars for secondary school teachers, in the training of teachers and in the competence centre of human rights. In addition I am a psycho-therapist specializing in "Gestalttherapie". Since September 2001 I have been appointed as a member of the EFTRE executive and since 2004 the chair of EFTRE.

Ich bin seit 1991 Lehrerin in den Fächern evang. Religion, italienisch und Geschichte und habe lange Zeit in einem Schulversuch mit dem Schwerpunkt soziales Lernen gearbeitet. Jetzt bin ich an der Kirchlich Pädagogsichen Hochschule Wien/Krems, welche für die Ausbildung von PflichtschullehrerInnen zuständig ist und für die Fort,-und Weiterbildung. Ich bin dort Bereichsleiterin für die Fort,- und Weiterbildung der evang. ReligionslehrerInnen an Höheren Schulen in Österreich zuständig, in der Schulpraxis für Studierende und arbeite im Kompetenzzentrum für Menschenrechtspädagogik mit. Zusätzlich bin ich Gestalttherapeutin. Seit September 2001 bin ich im Vorstand von EFTRE und seit 2004 Vorsitzende von EFTRE.
