Here are two Christian views on Mark's account of Blind Bartimaeus.

Sangit: "This was a miracle. It is recorded by Mark exactly as it happened. God made sure that Mark wrote the truth. The cure of the blind man was a sign that Jesus was the Messiah, and had special powers."

David: "Jesus might have had special powers, but that's not important. Mark wants the story to show that people are self-centred and 'blind' to the truth. Jesus makes a difference and opens people's eyes to the truth. That is the real miracle."
